1972 Inventory

This 1972 F250 5.0 COYOTE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE using a Dana 24 divorced transfer case and was also fitted with the Dana 60 front axle and the Ford Sterling 10.5 rear axle from a 2008 Ford F-250. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 and a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission that were sourced from a 2016 Ford Mustang GT. Additional build details include a limited-slip rear differential, 17 inch wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, modified hubs, and electric power steering. The cab houses a bench seat trimmed in black vinyl with diamond-pattern stitching as well as a TMI Products dash pad, sound-dampening material, Dakota Digital gauges, and Vintage Air climate control. Finished from the factory in Wimbledon White, the truck was repainted at some point under prior ownership, while rust on the right front fender was repaired following the sellers acquisition. Details include a Style side bed, a diamond plate rear step bumper, West Coast-style side mirrors, red tailgate lettering, and a 1972 half dollar secured in the middle of the Ford hood lettering. The hubs were modified to have an 8×6.5 bolt pattern and fitted with Timken bearings up front. US Wheel 17 inch white-finished wheels are wrapped in Yokohama GT4 tires, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. Components for the electric power steering include the gearbox from a 2006 F-250 and a Rough Country dual stabilizer system. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission that was sourced from the Mustang. Converted the truck to four-wheel drive utilizing a Dana 24 divorced transfer case and driveshafts from Tom Woods. The Dana 60 front axle and Ford Sterling 10.5 rear setup with a limited-slip differential were taken from a 2008 Ford F-250. A protective coating has been applied to the underside. An aftermarket steering wheel frames Dakota Digital VHX gauges including a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The digital odometer shows 31k miles, which is said to account for the miles on the donor engine and miles added since the completion of the build. Truck drives super smooth.
