The Huntington Beach Auto Dealers Association has a very special surprise for Huntington Beach’s kids this holiday season. At 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, they will treat 50 disadvantaged youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley’s Huntington Beach Branch to a $100 shopping spree for basic winter (clothing) essentials.
Kids will be transported by the Boys & Girls Club to Target in Huntington Beach for their shopping adventure. Santa will greet the children as they arrive at Target and give them their $100 gift certificates. Then, they will be paired with volunteer personal shoppers to help them buy needed clothing and accessories that will keep them warm and cozy throughout the season. The kids can have fun picking out items that are just their style. And, thanks to the Huntington Beach Auto Dealers Association, struggling families will be relieved to save money this holiday season and still have the essentials for their kids.
Bill Demarest, Treasurer of Huntington Beach Auto Dealers Association and part of the DeLillo Chevrolet family on Beach Blvd., told the Boys & Girls Club, “Our board at the Huntington Beach Auto Dealers Association decided that we wanted to do something special for the kids in Huntington Beach at the holidays. We want to make sure kids from struggling families have all the essentials they need this winter.”
