You just brought home a Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator from Huntington Beach Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and now you want to see what it can really do! Bring it to a Jeep Jamboree and take a deep dive into this welcoming club of off-roading enthusiasts.

What is a Jeep Jamboree?

Owners of Jeeps of every shape and size come together and put their 4X4 abilities to the test. Head off the interstates and discover exactly what your machine can do in some of the most beautiful places on the map.

Where can I take my Jeep out to play near Orange and Los Angeles County?

While there are Jeep Jamborees all across the United States and even a couple in Iceland, you won’t have to leave California to meet up with your fellow Jeepers. Trail ratings of 1-2 are easy and may not require 4-wheel-drive. 3-5 may have mud holes, boulders, and streams. Requires 4WD with 4-LO. 6-7 is demanding and requires 4WD with 4-LO. 8-9 is a bunch more demanding and has a high likelihood of getting stuck. Lifts and lockers are helpful. 10 is reserved for the toughest off-road trip in the U.S.A. — the Rubicon Trail. Requires 4WD with 4-LO. Not recommended for non-Wrangler models.

Big Bear 2025

Bring the family and explore high desert vistas seen by gold miners and lumberjacks back in the day. You choose the difficulty of the trail you want to follow on any given day, but pros are always available to help you wade through your first water crossing or clamber over some rocks. Camp at night near Big Bear Lake, but leave your days for a picnic lunch out in the open and a big meet-and-greet dinner each night.

Eastern Mojave Heritage Trail 2025

Experience the Mojave Desert as few have since the days of Westward Expansion. Camp under the stars, cook over an open fire, and pack in and out everything that you bring. This epic 700-mile event includes a week in the Spring and another in the Fall. The relatively mild trails are great for families and individuals itching to learn more about our natural world.

The adventure requires that you rise and rest with the sun. You will bring all your camping gear, food, and tools required for a comfortable and safe ride. Where are the restrooms and showers? Uh, nope. This is embracing the great outdoors.

Starting points for fun are Essex and Baker, CA.

Dates: April 25 to May 2 and October 13 to October 17, 2025

Death Valley 2025

Get to know your fellow Jeepers on this 3-day all-inclusive off-roading event. Limited to just 20 vehicles, you get to expand your driving abilities while being treated to all your meals and lodging.

Drive to the lowest point in America, explore the old Borax Works, and revel in endless open landscapes under the desert sun.

Date: October 30 to November 1, 2025

Rubicon Trail 2025

If you’re going to drive the iconic Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, you might want to take it to the land of its name. This 22-mile trail is the oldest trip for Jeep Jamborees and has possibly the roughest terrain you are likely to encounter. That being said, it’s also the most popular gathering for Jeepers in America.

If one Rubicon Trail Jamboree is filled, don’t worry! There are four events each year. Some focus on tackling only the hardest part of the trail, and others expand your options and explore more of the Sierra Nevadas.

You will need to check your equipment list and install any required upgrades before you arrive for inspection. Oh, a buddy is a must!
