March is a great month for events in Southern California and we wanted to share with you the very best so that you can make a date in your calendar. This is a great family activity that takes place every Sunday from 7am to 9am at the Fun Zone on the corner of Palm – near the ferry – and East Balboa Boulevard in Newport Beach, CA. Entrance is free and there’s plenty to see, do, and enjoy including a FREE raffle and plenty of donuts! This is also a fantastic place to take the family for breakfast when you’re on a road trip in Southern California.
You can see some of the most amazing classic and custom cars at the Marina Car Cruise, which takes place every fourth Saturday each month from 1pm to 5pm, right off Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach. There are activities for you to participate in or you can take a seat in the spectator stands free of charge. There’s plenty of parking and loads of chances for you and the family to win prizes and awards, making for a great day out for everyone.
You’ll see all sorts of cars manufactured since 1972 at the Beachcruiser Meet, which is scheduled for March 25 & 26, starting at 7am. It will be on Main Street on the Pier Plaza. Station wagons, convertibles, VW transporters, Corvettes, Chevelles, and a host of classic and modified cars gather for the auto spectacle of the year. You can register your own modified Beachcruiser to enter into several prize-winning categories or simply go along and take in the view!
