Winter is quickly approaching, and even in sunny Orange County, the temperatures can get a little low. With weather as unpredictable as it is, it’s important to remember to prep your car for winter; especially if you plan on traveling. We here at Beach Boulevard of Cars want you to be safe and have a great time on your journeys, so here are a few tips to stay safe during the winter season!
Winter is a beautiful season throughout California, and hitting the slopes should be on your holiday list. Snowfalls for 2016 are already higher in the Tahoe area than last year, and you don’t want to miss out because of car trouble! If you plan on traveling, make sure you prep your car first by doing these simple checks:
• Check antifreeze levels.
• Check tire pressure and tread depth.
• Change your windshield wiper fluid to winter wiper fluid.
• Have a winter emergency kit with a flashlight, batteries, blankets, matches, etc, just in case you get stuck somewhere you don’t want to be.
